Denise Van Outen ‘enjoyed’ posing for racy lads’ mags shoots in the 90s and 00s, insisting she never felt uncomfortable with stripping off for front covers.

The TV personality shot to fame after appearing on The Big Breakfast, and posed for the likes of FHM and Nuts at the height of her success.

Denise, 62, keeps her photo shoots in a box in her attic and hopes to use them as research for her autobiography.

The Dancing On Ice star is proud to have the glamorous underwear shoots as part of her career and has no regrets.

She told The Sun: ‘I look back at them fondly, I have no regrets about the shoots. They were fun to do.

‘It was very fashionable at the time and I enjoyed all of it. I never felt uncomfortable.

‘I was quite selective anyway. I never did anything topless, there was more of a fashion approach to it.’

She described writing her book as ‘cathartic’ and is loving the chance to look back on ‘all the mad things I’ve done’.

The TV host might be returning to her morning telly roots as she and former The Big Breakfast co-star Johnny Vaughn are cooking something up.

Denise left the show in 2000 amid a pay dispute and it put a strain on their working relationship, however lockdown has brought them back together.

Addressing her friendship with Johnny on the Sweat, Snot and Tears podcast, Denise said that the pair frequently talk and are setting their sights on a reunion.

‘We have been speaking a lot recently. We’ve been on and off as friends for years for various reasons,’ she explained, without going into detail about their fallout.

Hinting that fans could see more from them together onscreen, Denise teased: ‘We’ve started talking again and, again, we’ve started thinking of some little ideas so you never know.’
