Techland has finally given Dying Light 2 fans the release date they’ve been waiting for today by announcing via their first “Dying 2 Know” episode that the open-world zombie epic will be arriving on December 7th for PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Xbox Series. The game’s official title will be Dying Light 2: Stay Human.
Today’s announcement was almost spoiled last night by an Italian web ad that had made the rounds, showing off the game’s release date. That’s in the past, as Techland has made it official, alongside a brand-new Gameplay Trailer you can watch below.
Along with the release date reveal and trailer, Techland has revealed the three retail variants of the game — Standard, Deluxe, and Collector’s — as well as three digital variants — Standard, Deluxe, and Ultimate. Everyone who pre-orders any version of the game will receive an exclusive digital Reload Pack, featuring a unique outfit, weapon, and paraglider skin.
Pre-orders are up now, with the Collector’s Edition not lasting long. PC, PS4, and PS5 versions will be available from 3:30 PM Eastern Time, with Xbox One and Xbox Series available from 4:00 PM Eastern Time.
